“We Christians gotta try on this statement: ‘I no longer want to sin,’ because, see that is the truth. God says it any number of ways but that’s the truth.
Your truest desire at the core of your being, you don’t really want to sin anymore. If you did, then God would be asking you to fake it. He would be asking you to
go against who you are. He would be asking you to go against your nature, against your heart, against your identity in order to live godly, but that is not the Gospel message. You do not go against who you are.
"The Bible says you are children of light therefore walk as children of light, right? Because we are light, we can walk that way. Because we are slaves of righteousness, we can act that way. Because we are partakers of the divine nature, we can behave that way. If we live by The Spirit, let us walk by The Spirit. And, so, the Gospel is NOT saying, ‘Do in order to be.’ The Gospel says, ‘You are, therefore do.’ Big difference.
And, so, once we realize what the salvation experience actually accomplished for us, it REALLY matters. Salvation is not just forgiveness of sins. Forgiveness of sins is AWESOME, but salvation is NOT just ‘forgiveness of sins’. It is forgiveness and a new heart, forgiveness and a new spirit, forgiveness and a new way to think and act, forgiveness and a new spiritual core because the old is ripped out and crucified. The new man is now who you are and we need to KNOW IT.”

I did not know that...
Simon the Sorcerer in Acts 8:9-24...
He’s known for being the founder of Gnosticism.
Interesting...
I guess there’s also this thing called “Simonianism”.
If that’s anything like Gnosticism, it sounds spooky so no thanks.
Interesting also how there’s this verb known as “simony” which is the act of trying to purchase a church role.
No thanks on that one as well.
There’s only one way to be saved, period (Mark 1:15, John 3:1-21, John 11:25-27, Romans 10:13).
100% of everyone’s born of water. Just think of every mom: Odds are that it got expressed at one time or another: “We need to get to the hospital. My water just broke.”
Jesus at Calvary is the only way anyone is ever forgiven, again, period (John 14:6, John 19:30 and Galatians 2:19-21).
Because of Jesus and His substitute sacrifice at Calvary (Matthew 20:28, Mark 10:45), your forgiveness is justified and the wrath of The Lord is turned away from you. Logically, it’s followed by His resurrection which means you live because He lives (Matthew 28:6, John 14:19b, Romans 5:10).
Forgiveness is once for all (Hebrews 10:1-18), and it means it’s past, present and future (John 5:24, John 10:28, 2 Corinthians 5:19, Ephesians 4:32, Colossians 2:13-14, 1 John 2:12, 2 Peter 1:9, Jude 1:24, etc. Only one is needed since there are no contradictions in The Word...EVER.). There’s no need to “keep a tally” or “visit a confession booth” as those “salvation by works” cults and / or false religions push. What 1 John 1:9 means is to agree with The Lord about the fact that you’re a sinner in need of a Savior and then ask forgiveness (see 1 John 1:8-10 for more information). Scripture in context is ALWAYS emphasized. A person ultimately only affects him or herself and forever’s a long time.
People come to Jesus to be forgiven, not in order to have a fat wallet, great health, cool car, nice job, big house, etc. It’s cults and some false religions which add to Calvary, not The Lord (Galatians 3:28-29, 1 John 3:23-24, 1 John 5:6-12).

We need to mean what we say and say what The Word teaches if we are to attempt to teach anything at all.
Sometimes love must be tough. The desire is for everyone truly born again (see John 3:1-21 for more information) to hit as close to 100% as possible of everything for which The Lord created that person. Since no one is perfect and there is no one righteous...AT ALL (Isaiah 64:6, John 8:7, Romans 3:10-12, Romans 3:21-26), and since also, The Word is clear that knowledge puffs up while love builds up (1 Corinthians 8:1), the other desire is that everybody who is NOT born again comes to know what salvation is (Ephesians 2:8-9, 2 Peter 3:8-9). Therein lies the motives. Salvation comes first. No one is saved BY good works but rather UNTO them. HUMONGOUS difference (Isaiah 64:6, Matthew 5:14-16, Acts 1:8, Ephesians 2:8-9 and Titus 3:4-8). No one is able to goody two shoes into Heaven. “Salvation by works” never works. Jesus did 100% of everything salvation-wise.
According to Ephesians 5:11, instructions are to have nothing to do with the deeds of darkness but rather expose them, according to both Matthew 7:15 and 1 John 4:1 we are instructed to both beware of those who behave like ravenous wolves as well as to test the spirits and according to Matthew 24:23-25 we are instructed to be cautious of false christs and in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 and James 4:3 we are told of people like “Word of Faith Movement”, “Prosperity Gospel”, “Name It / Claim It”, “Progressive Christianity”, “Faith Healers”, cults, false religions and the like. It’s only The Holy Spirit Who can guide into all truth (John 14:26, John 16:13, 1 Corinthians 3:5-9), so the prayer is that the heart will be soft enough to recognize that truth when it arrives. Everyone needs a savior (1 John 1:8-10).

“Prosperity Gospel”?
That ranks right down there with stuff like “Word of Faith Movement”, “Progressive Christianity”, “Name It / Claim It” or so-called "Faith Healers".
Does REPENTANCE mean “be a goody two shoes”? Nope. Cults and false religions do THAT but “salvation by works” never works. Salvation’s a GIFT.
The Old Testament was originally written in Hebrew. The New Testament was oroginally written in Greek with a little bit of Aramaic.
To “repent” in the original Hebrew neans to do a 180.
To “repent” in the original Greek means to change your mind about something.
Since you can do 100% of nothing solo (John 15:5, Romans 12:2, 2 Corinthians 10:5), to “repent” means to change your mind and to adjust behaviors accordingly.
Don’t forget that Christianity's a relationship and not a “religion”. As with any relationship, if you goof (and yes, you will), apologize and move on. Religions jump through various hoops in order to “try and find his or her god”. Christianity, on the other hand, is a RELATIONSHIP: It has The Lord reaching out from Heaven (via Calvary) in an attempt to find man. HUMONGOUS difference. Meanwhile, forever’s a long time. Someone born again (John 3:1-21) is no longer under that obsolete Mosaic Law (2 Corinthians 3:4-11) which in essence says, “Die to self,” but instead is in Jesus. As such, that person is a partaker in the Divine Nature (2 Peter 1:3-4).
Mark 1:15, John 5:24, John 11:25-27, John 14:6, John 19:30, Romans 5:10, Galatians 2:20 and Colossians 2:13 are all VERY MUCH worth looking up. Whatever you decide only affects you.

The Lord never shows favoritism (Romans 2:11).
If person “A” is born again (John 3:1-21) and therefore is guaranteed will make it (Jude 1:24), so will Persons “B”, “C”, “D”, “E” and so forth if he or she is born again also.
