Protesters storm Armenian parliament after Nagorno-Karabakh peace treaty signed

Mobs of angry protesters besieged the Armenian parliament and government offices, outraged over the announcement of Yerevan's deal with Azerbaijan on the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh, which involved Armenia giving up its claim to some of the territory.Chaos enveloped the streets of Armenia's capital, Yerevan, with protesters firing guns on the streets and the storming of government buildings. They are demanding the resignations of Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan after he agreed to a 'painful' armistice and to give up land to Azerbaijan in exchange for an end to the bloodshed.Pashinyan's whereabouts are currently unknown, and the parliament building reportedly remains under the control of the protesters.
