Which is the most smallest efficient handgun for a granny? Easy to handle

Honestly, what I recommend is to go and try them. Caliber .22 or .380 will be a good start. But there are so many brands and types. For example the pressure of the trigger, how it fits in your hand. Maybe a revolver is better? So i recommend to try them and feel comfortable with it. Maybe you fill comfortable with a caliber .45 you never know...
