"Vertical before Horizontal"

If you are married or desire to be, this word is for you.You may have seen the umbrella/family structure illustration before, which is precious and powerful, but Holy Spirit just showed me a symbol within 2 words that brought me to my knees- "Vertical before Horizontal"When our relationship with Him [vertical] is deep and intimate, our earth connections [horizontal] will be as well. If you were to draw a line from top to bottom, that represents us and our First Love, Jesus. Halfway through that line, draw another line across, representing you and your spouse. What do you have?The Cross has the final Word. Do not accept a passionless, disconnected, lonely marriage. Take your Christ authority and declare what Jesus died for! He wants a holy union with Him at the center, a close intimacy with you and your spouse that hears His every whisper, word of guidance and song of hope, a faith walk so vibrant and full of Holy Spirit fire that people want what you have-to know and trust in Him.Is your vertical communication on point, so that your horizontal relationships may come to be?-Jorene Kay
