"This Little Girl" is a song by Gary U.S. Bonds from his album, Dedication. It was the first of two single releases from the LP. The song was written by Bruce Springsteen and has its origins in the 1978 outtake "Ain't Good Enough For You" from the Darkness On The Edge Of Town sessions. The outtake version was eventually released on Springsteen's The Promise in 2010. "This Little Girl" became a hit during the spring of 1981, reaching #11 in the U.S. and also charting well in Canada and New Zealand. It peaked at #43 in the UK.
