This morning we have been "layered" continuously at intensity 9.75+ for hours. The mix is inflammatory and makes the air feel very "thick" and hard to breath. It's clearly loaded with particulates and induces inflammation, more in some than others. Following are the events for the day so far. Even the timing was identical: Before 6 am until about noon. Following are the events for the day so far. I spent the afternoon in Ellsworth so I'll explain that in the log entries below. We had the usual nighttime barrage of unbearably-strong plumes dominated by the inflammatory components. The final plume of the after-midnight set occurred at about 1:30 am instead of the usual 2:30 am. It's as if they skipped the final plume.
