: Ayer jueves el Presidente de Estados Unidos, Joe Biden, dió un mensaje a la Nación donde habló sobre las medidas que él entiende que se deben implementar para controlar las armas
1. Subir la edad de 18 a 21 años para comprar cualquier arma
2. Prohibir los rifles AR15 o AK47 y los cargadores de balas de alta capacidad
3. Hacer un background check universal a las personas que querían comprar un arma
4. Asignar más fondos para trabajar con los problemas de salud mental
Como saben para que estas medidas se conviertan en ley deben ser aprobadas primero por El Congreso de Estados Unidos, entiéndase, El Senado y La Cámara de Representantes
El Presidente Biden añadió que si no se pueden prohibir los rifles de asalto, que por lo menos se suba la edad a 21 años para poder comprar un arma larga, también dijo que respeta a las personas decentes que tienen armas y que su objetivo no es quitarle las armas a las personas que son responsables con su uso, y que la segunda enmienda no es absoluta
Habló sobre su visita a la ciudad de Uvalde en Texas donde hubo el tiroteo en la escuela elemental que cobró la vida de 21 personas y dijo que la gran mayoría de las personas le pidió que hiciera algo para que eso no vuelva ocurrir
Tengo que mencionar que estoy de acuerdo con el Presidente Biden en los puntos 1,3 y 4 pero respeto las personas que lo vean diferente a mi, piensen en otras medidas y también respeto los que piensen que no se debe cambiar nada con respecto a las armas
