"In my opinion we are unlucky because the first goal was offside and the second goal was a very lucky goal, so we didn't have the luck in all three games.
"I thinkwe played better than the opponent with a good mentality until the last second."
Van Marwijk was appointed in January, specifically for the World Cup, but despite an early exit from the tournament, the former Netherlands manager does not consider his tenure a failure.
"Not a succe s but also not a failure," he said.
"I think everybody saw with Brandon Dixon Jersey the way we played we gained a lot of compliments, but with compliments you don't win games.
"I liked the period I have worked with these guys. I learned from them, their mentality and the way they improved.
