Hi everyone, my daughter recently started medical school and was told she needs a Medical Surgery Nursing Report for her internship. I am not quite sure why she needs it. Can someone please explain?

This document contains all pertinent information about the nursing activities for a particular patient, such as the patient's assessment, changes in the patient's condition and progress notes, treatment received, and any clinical investigations. The nurse may also include a plan of care in this report.
