As a result of a conversation about Paul Krugman's column today, I realized, like CA and the USA, Facebook will fail. As predicted by the US Constitution.

Tai Food He says this to make you want to believe...to let your emotions override the rational or reasonable mind. Wanting something to be true is different than the cause of what is true. Alfred Nobel, who invented dynamite wanted his invention to be used to improve the safety of miners.
It is why I love brutha Kim, he wants the dream, as do I.
I try to show the harm by the study of Dynamite, not the countless miner's lives Nobel saved by making nitroglycerin based explosions safer but the more insidious damage it has allowed in the hands of lessor men. Paul Krugman is a dangerous man since he puts forth as fact what is only a sleigh of mind and data. Economists have a way of doing that.
I counter pointing to the stopped clock, twice a day I would be correct and others use it the remaining time to set their clocks.

Who do you want to be right? Popeye, Bluto or Olive Oyl?
Begs the question, who do you want to be? One who pursues, being pursued? or takes what he wants regardless of outcome? Are the necessarily different people?
We need a belief in things other than ourselves, What we see and know to be happening because it allows "suffering" to be tolerated.
We learn to enjoy spinach over candy, for example, to be healthy...and lo and behold I make Popeye in my image.

Or are we answering a question of science or sales?
Regarding extreme weather? Let's see: something happened somewhere that was noteworthy. We hear and read of its noteworthiness and just reading about some event unpredicted guy with suspect motives and countless errors in result and logic assigns some mystical quality to it?
I'll ask Zeus or Poseidon or I'll just ignore all this and hang with Venus? No. Just understand that we are in a process that might never be more than statistical in nature like hitting a golf ball. Or recently the Super Bowl or singing the national anthem. How or way? that just happened yesterday from people who can tell us everything that was in their minds and we record every waking moment yet today why did Green Bay win? I don't know.
So ask why do we have extreme weather? So we can enjoy non-extreme weather is all I can say for sure and only from my perspective.
If no one can predict has can we verify their claims?
Who wins something as simple as a Super Bowl or why one of our most talented singers muffs her spot in front of the largest television audience then how do we assign faith to a man whose opinions are wrong except twice a day? On a subject as all encompassing as the weather and will reach into our every second of life with the ramifications of the false "prophet"?
The process in medicine is called selling snake oil, It exists because some people thing it will cure their malady. They want to believe and it gives them hope. Is it science or sales?

Why do we follow an about face in speech of a President followed by two years of exact opposite behavior? We want Popeye not knowing if we have Bluto because we want Olive Oyl?

Tai Food Where we get it wrong is instead of pursuing happiness we let others define it for us and forget to ask questions and be adversarial, by the false illusion of happiness through silencing opposition.
We chase Olive Oyl crushing spinach cans and not consuming anything except Hamburgers or sweets and avoiding nutrition thinking the crushed can is our goal.
..instead of the message of consuming nutrition (eating spinach) that isn't palatable at first bite but that will allow one who consumes it with passion to become strong to pursue happiness, even hoping to one day get Olive Oyl but being "happy" understanding it's the pursuit not the taking or meeting the goal to obtain her.
We do so to pursuit Olive Oyl? No, we do it to pursuit happiness, the obvious beauty is in the eyes of Popeye alone, and coveted by Bluto just wants to crush spinach and take Olive Oyl thinking that is the end all, the final lust of power fulfilled, for the sake of it.
Bullies bully because they crave the power and pursue their happiness by what I see is a perversion, but tolerated because I might be Bluto next 'episode'...which means it is is in the eyes of the beholder and is not truth,
Can't it all be outlawed? No, power shifts happen and it depends who you are and is why we guarantee as inalienable the rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
To all,Popeye, Olive Oyl AND Bluto, be given basic rights yet are adversarial by nature for a balance to work. With adversarial dissent one side gets what they want and the story ends, reverting to any other form of government that has been recycled over and over...thus ending the "pursuit of happiness" for all but the very few or the very ambitious.
It is why I irritate you because I always seem to confront and be a pain but just agreeing when i like without being adverse when I don't leads to decay. Of relationships... communities, states and countries.
