"IN CHRIST" IS A SPIRITUAL POSITION Being IN Christ is an invisible supernatural spiritual POSITION that God puts you into the instant you have BELIEVED the same gospel that Paul received and preached (1Cor 15:1-4), without doing, saying, or praying anything (Eph 2:8-9; Col 4:12 KJV).Your FAITH in (believing that) Christ DIED FOR YOUR SINS, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day, is HOW YOU RECEIVE redemption, complete forgiveness, eternal salvation, justification, and righteousness from God.God makes the offer to you through those who preach the gospel to you as a free gift.And, you accept that free gift by BELIEVING it in the privacy of your heart.The moment you have BELIEVED you have God's free GIFT forever! And, there's no way to undo it!Once you've BELIEVED you are a permanent child of God and a permanent member of the Church the Body of Christ. And, when you die, you WILL go to heaven! God is able to put you IN Christ once you have BELIEVED the gospel BECAUSE of the finished cross work of Christ.Christ paid your sin debt, and the receipt is his resurrection. But, to RECEIVE credit for it on YOUR personal spiritual account you are required by God to BELIEVE it.Believe to RECEIVE. How God does this is by his invisible supernatural operation made without hands in PUTTING OFF your body of sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ. Read Colossians 2:10-14 KJV in order to hear about this instantaneous process from God himself. Once we have BELIEVED Paul's gospel of Christ, we die on the cross with Christ, and we are buried with him in spiritual baptism, and we are risen to LIFE with him through the faith of the operation of God.Before we BELIEVED the gospel, we were dead in our sins and the uncircumcision of our flesh (Col 2:13a KJV).But, once we have BELIEVED the gospel, God QUICKENS us (gives our dead spirit life) together with Christ, having forgiven us ALL trespasses (Col 2:13b-14 KJV)...======================SHARE COPY PASTE EDIFY
