WE ARE FORGIVEN UPON BELIEF OFPAUL'S GOSPEL, AND NOT BEFORE!The potential to have forgiveness for all our sins as individuals was accomplished AT the cross. But actual forgiveness, for the individual, doesn't occur until we are IN CHRIST, according to Jesus Christ and apostle Paul (Acts 26:18; 2Cor 5:19; Col 2:10-13 KJV).We are not IN CHRIST until we have BELIEVED Paul's gospel (Eph 3:6 KJV).Before we have BELIEVED Paul's gospel, we are IN ADAM, and don't have God's forgiveness.Apostle Paul writes ...2 Corinthians 5:19 (KJV):"To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation."The sense in which the whole world is reconciled to God is POTENTIAL, not actual. Christ's death for ALL made everyone RECONCILABLE, i.e. saveable; potential justification. If everyone was already RECONCILED, Paul wouldn't be calling anyone to BE reconciled (2Cor 5:20 KJV).ACTUAL SALVATION and forgiveness of sins does NOT come automatically, but by grace through faith in Christ and his finished work of the cross as payment for our sins, the moment we have BELIEVED Paul's gospel without works (1Cor 15:1-4; Eph 2:8-9; Eph 1:13 KJV).The wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23 KJV)!For as IN Adam all die (1 Cor 15:22 KJV).Either you trust Christ and accept his offer of forgiveness ... OR, you reject his offer and pay for your sins yourself for eternity in hell. There will be NO 'righteous' people in hell! There is NO middle ground: there are those IN CHRIST, i.e. the righteous, and there are those IN ADAM, i.e. the UNrighteous.God sees TWO kinds of people today: the SAVED (righteous; saints) and the UNSAVED (unrighteous; sinners).Believing Paul's gospel (1Cor 15:1-4) without works (Eph 2:8-9 KJV) is what makes a person forgiven, 'righteous,' and saved.Only God is righteous.Being IN Christ (God the Son) is the only way to be righteous, and forgiven.___________________________LEARN MORE:"IN CHRIST" WE ARE FORGIVEN ALL OUR SIN - (1hr Video Bible Study) - by Pastor Richard Jordan -->https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=NC_iXaNb-Bc#Read Pastor Bryan Ross' commentary on "reconciliation" ... https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1656943524347144&id=100000945383580___________________________Jesus said to apostle Paul on the road to Damascus ...Acts 26:18 (KJV):"To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may RECEIVE FORGIVENESS OF SINS, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith THAT IS IN ME."======================SHARE COPY PASTE EDIFY
