IF YOU'RE STILL ASKING GOD TO FORGIVE YOU, YOU MIGHT NOT BE SAVEDYou MIGHT be saved, I'm not saying you're not. Only God and you with an understanding of his written word rightly divided know for sure if you’re saved.I’m saying that if you’re still asking God to forgive you, it’s quite possible that you’re not really saved.Don’t you want to be 100% certain? You can be! GOD WANTS YOU TO KNOW from his written word whether or not you're saved and how salvation is obtained TODAY in this present dispensation of grace.God WANTS you to understand these things, so that (1) you can know it for yourself; and (2) so you can tell others also!.The point I’m trying to make is this: You can’t be CERTAIN that you’re saved unless you KNOW what the scriptures (rightly divided) say about salvation today. You can't be SURE that you're saved unless you KNOW FOR A FACT (from Paul's epistles) that you've trusted and believed THE SAME GOSPEL of salvation that PAUL received and preached!!And, God WANTS you to know and understand that!Isn’t it time you did?If you call yourself a Christian, it’s past time!.Paul preached a DIFFERENT gospel of salvation than Peter and the 11 did, because Christ gave Paul a DIFFERENT commission. Christ sent the 12 to teach and baptize the scattered JEWS in all nations. Mt 28:19; Mt 15:24; Mt 10:5 KJV.Paul was sent to preach the gospel to all men, but especially the GENTILES. Paul said Christ sent him NOT to baptize. 1Cor 1:17; Rom 1:16; Rom 11:13 KJV.Please take the time to look up those verse references, directly above, if you’re not sure if those statements are true or not.If you're not 100% POSITIVE that Paul's gospel was DIFFERENT than the 12's, AND 100% certain what gospel message Paul received from Christ and then preached, then from a KJV Bible, you better read and believe Romans chapters 1 through 5; 1Corinthians 1:17; 1Corinthians 15:1-4; Ephesians 2:8-9; Ephesians 1:13; Ephesians 3:1-7 KJV !.You can't ever be SURE that you're really saved as long as you're still asking God to forgive you. No sin can enter heaven. So, if you have even one sin that’s unforgiven, you’re not entering heaven. But, God has made a way for ALL your sins to be forgiven: the finished work of the cross. And, God has made a way for you to KNOW with 100% CERTAINTY that you will be entering heaven when you die: Romans through Philemon KJV. However, KNOWING it requires you READING the KJV Bible rightly divided, and considering what Paul says. See 2Tim 2:7,15,16 KJV. .Until you learn exactly what the gospel of Christ is, ACCORDING TO THE WRITINGS OF PAUL, you can't be 100% certain that your salvation is secure, because you can’t be sure God has forgiven you if you haven’t understood what the gospel of your salvation is TODAY in this dispensation..It’s important that you understand WHEN and HOW a person receives complete forgiveness. And, it’s important that you understand that your forgiveness IN Christ is COMPLETE....WHEN FORGIVENESS HAPPENS.The KEY to understanding the truth about WHEN YOU RECEIVE COMPLETE FORGIVENESS is learning the doctrine that Paul teaches concerning "IN Christ"!Simply do a search of Paul’s epistles (Romans through Philemon KJV) of the phrase “in Christ” and read and study each passage it appears...Here's a short explanation:Jesus Christ said in Acts 26:18, and later apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 1:7 and Colossians 1:14 KJV, that forgiveness is IN Christ. Take the time to look those verses up in a King James Bible (KJV), so you can SEE them with your own eyes.Once we are IN Christ we HAVE RECEIVED complete forgiveness of sins because IN Christ is also where we have LIFE (2Tim 1:1 KJV), and that LIFE of Christ is what makes us FREE FROM SIN and death. See Rom 8:2 KJV...Paul Writes:.Romans 8:2 (KJV): “For the law of the Spirit of life IN Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.”.1 Corinthians 15:22 (KJV): “For as IN Adam all die, even so IN Christ shall all be made alive.”.IN Adam we are still in bondage to SIN and DEATH. As a lost person IN Adam we are DEAD IN OUR SINS. But, IN Christ we are made free from the law of sin and death, and we are quickened (made alive, active, and aware) together with Christ. See Rom 8:2; 1Cor 15:22; Eph 2:1,5; Col 2:13 KJV..But, IN Christ we have forgiveness and LIFE! Eph 1:7; Col 1:14; Rom 8:2; 1Cor 15:22 KJV...Well, HOW do we go from being IN Adam to being IN Christ?HOW do we get IN Christ? What saith the scriptures according to Paul's doctrine?.The scriptures, according to PAUL, says we get IN Christ by the gospel.. "IN Christ by the gospel" - Eph 3:6 KJV..We get IN Christ (and are saved) by believing Paul's gospel of Christ!.Paul writes:.Romans 1:16 (KJV): “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth;”.Romans 2:16 (KJV): “In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.”.Before we BELIEVED Paul's gospel we were IN Adam; lost, dead in our sins, and headed to hell!!!There is NO forgiveness IN Adam, because there is NO imputed righteousness IN Adam.Paul plainly tells us that IN Adam we were dead IN our sins! Eph 2:5 KJV.Paul clearly tells us that its life IN Christ that makes us FREE FROM THE LAW OF SIN and death. Rom 8:2 KJV.It takes LIFE IN CHRIST to be made free from the law of SIN and death. You have to be sure you’re IN Christ, and the only way you can be SURE you’re IN Christ is to understand what Paul teaches about HOW we get IN Christ! Eph 3:6; Rom 1:16; 1Cor 15:1-4 KJV. .If you've ever once SINCERELY believed that Christ DIED FOR YOUR SINS, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day, then you are IN Christ and you HAVE complete forgiveness of ALL your sins (past, present, and future sins!) FOREVER!Jesus Christ said in Acts 26:18, and apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 1:7 and Colossians 1:14 KJV, that forgiveness is IN Christ..If you're IN Christ you HAVE complete forgiveness! So, there's no point in asking God for something you ALREADY HAVE.Of course, if you never really BELIEVED the gospel that Christ DIED FOR YOUR SINS, then, it makes sense that you’d be ignorantly trying to ask God to forgive you of your sins. But, if you’ve BELIEVED the gospel (1Cor 15:1-4) and you’re still asking God to forgive you, then it means you DON’T BELIEVE you have his forgiveness. And, that could mean that you’re not saved, but not necessarily. It could be you’re just ignorant of what the scriptures say in Paul’s epistles. You COULD be saved and just not understand HOW you got saved, nor understand the doctrine of forgiveness today, which is sometimes the case. Or, it COULD mean that you never got saved BECAUSE you never really understood what the gospel of your salvation actually is. It pays to find out! It pays by giving you the COMFORT of knowing for sure that you’re saved and that you have complete forgiveness of ALL your sins forever, no matter what, BECAUSE YOU KNOW THE DOCTRINE OF SALVATION FROM APOSTLE PAUL. There’s nothing more comforting than KNOWING you’ll be going to heaven!.In Colossians 2:13, Paul tells us saved people that IN Christ we have been completely forgiven of ALL our sins! ALL of them: past, present, and future sins.Read Ephesians 1:13 KJV. There Paul gives us the order which leads up to the salvation EVENT!.Paul writes...Ephesians 1:13 (KJV): "In whom ye also TRUSTED, after that ye HEARD the word of truth, THE GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION: in whom also after that ye BELIEVED, ye were SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise,".1. TRUST in Christ alone to save you from the law of sin and death. 2. Then, HEAR Paul’s gospel of Christ, the gospel of your salvation (1Cor 15:1-4).3. Then, BELIEVE Paul’s gospel of Christ (1Cor 15:1-4), and you are instantly SAVED, sealed IN Christ, and have complete forgiveness for all your sins forever, and you WILL go to heaven someday!..To do that, you must realize a few things first. You must realize and acknowledge to yourself that you are a sinner, deserving of hell, and that you are in need of a Saviour..Romans 3:23 (KJV): “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”.Romans 5:12 (KJV): “Wherefore, as by one man [ i.e. Adam ] sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”.Romans 6:23 (KJV): “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”..You must also realize and acknowledge to yourself that Jesus Christ is God the Creator and your only Saviour. .Hosea 13:4 (KJV): “Yet I am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me.”.1 John 5:7 (KJV): “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.”.John 1:1-3,14 (KJV): “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.2 The same was in the beginning with God.3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”.Ephesians 3:9 (KJV): “… God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:”.Colossians 1:15 (KJV): “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:”..Once you understand that you are a sinner headed for hell, and in need of Jesus Christ, the only one that can and will save you, and you’ve TRUSTED in Christ to save you, you are then ready to HEAR the gospel of your salvation, according to apostle Paul..Paul Writes:.1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV): “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you THE GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;2 BY WHICH ALSO YE ARE SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures;4 AND THAT HE WAS BURIED, AND THAT HE ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY according to the scriptures:”.Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV): “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES: it is the gift of God:9 NOT OF WORKS, lest any man should boast.”..Once you understand that you are a sinner, and that Jesus Christ is God, and that he’s the only one that can and will save you from the law of sin and death, which can send you to hell and the lake of fire forever if you die without getting God’s forgiveness, and you have TRUSTED in Christ, and then you have BELIEVED the gospel that Christ died for your sins, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day, you are saved, sealed IN Christ, and have complete forgiveness of ALL your sins. ..The gospel is simple: Believe 1Cor 15:1-4, plus nothing, and you’re SAVED and going to heaven..Romans 4:4-5 (KJV): “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”..Just remember, you’re still going to sin after you’re saved...WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU SIN AFTER SALVATION?.Once you’ve believed the gospel your spirit and soul are saved, but your body will still sin while alive on earth. That’s because sin is in our flesh. See Ro 7:25; Ro 8:3 KJV. That’s why Paul says, as far as God is concerned, after we are saved our body is dead (Rom 8:10 KJV). The moment we have believed the gospel, we are spiritually and supernaturally baptized into Christ and into his death, and we are buried with him by that same spiritual baptism. See Rom 6:3-4 KJV.Why? .Paul tells us why here: .Romans 6:4 -6 (KJV): “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”.After we’ve believed the gospel (1Cor 15:1-4) we’re saved, spiritually baptized IN Christ, forgiven, and God instantly performs an invisible, supernatural operation of CIRCUMCISION on our being, in which God separates our body of sin from our saved soul and spirit. That’s HOW God uses our faith in the gospel to make us complete IN Christ. Take the time to read Col 2:10-14 KJV; that instantaneous process is very interesting! And, God wants you to know about it, so you can know what happened to you, and so you can tell other saved people about it!!!This is WHY God reckons our body dead, and WHY Paul tells us to likewise reckon our own body of sin dead. Rom 6:11 KJV. Paul is trying to get us saved people to see ourselves and our situation on earth the way God sees us and it IN Christ. God wants you to KNOW the reality of your position IN Christ and what it actually MEANS. God want to teach you all about it, through the writings of YOUR apostle, Paul...Our sin body will be destroyed (in the grave) and replaced (at the rapture) with a glorified body. Rom 6:6; Php 3:20-21 KJV. This sin body simply houses our saved spirit and soul and the Godhead, who is in us (if we’re saved) after we’ve believed the gospel. Our physical body is a temporary shell that will be replaced with a sinless heavenly body at the rapture, fit for the heavenly places. 1Cor 15:48-54; Eph 1:3; Eph 2:6 KJV...Does that mean it’s ok to sin all we want to after salvation? No. Being saved by the grace of God is NOT a license to sin. Read the rest of Romans chapter 6 to hear what God through Paul says about that issue. And, please, consider reading three chapters of Romans through Philemon KJV every day, so you can be prepared for your heavenly exam at the judgment seat of Christ..Well, then, what are we saved people to do when we sin? .When we sin, we are to stop and thank God for sending his Son to die on the cross for that sin!During this dispensation of grace, we’re not suppose to ask God to forgive us for our sins, because if we’re saved, we already HAVE complete forgiveness. Our sin should be a REMINDER to ourselves that Christ DIED FOR OUR SINS, so that we might live a life of GRATITUDE and humility and in service to the Lord Jesus Christ. Our response to our own sin should be THANKSGIVING to God and our Lord Jesus Christ for the finished work of the cross!..=======================SHARE COPY PASTE EDIFY
