THE RAPTURE: OUR COMFORT, PEACE, AND HOPEDaniel's Image of the Man Is The Timeline for The Rule And Reign of the Gentile Nations."Daniel Chapter 2 is of critical importance because it clearly establishes for you the pre-millennial system of study. That is before the kingdom of God is established on the earth Jesus Christ comes back and in a catastrophic judgment, a tremendous catastrophic event (not a gradual disintegration of the gentile kingdoms into the kingdom of God), he destroys the gentile kingdoms as that rock cut without hands strikes at the feet of the image and breaks it into pieces and it is blown away. Then Jesus sets up his kingdom (the mountain). You want to remember that when you hear people say that “we are in the kingdom” that they don’t grasp Daniel Chapter 2. This is a critical passage in prophecy because it fixes, clearly, the order of prophecy. That is that Christ’s second coming takes place before the kingdom is established.".--RICHARD JORDAN, GSB.."You ask, but what about the dispensation of Grace? You understand all of this so far is prophecy. This is all in the prophetic program. The dispensation of Grace interrupts prophecy and is not figured into the scheme of things here. But it’s interesting in I Thessalonians Chapter 5 where it talks about the second coming of Christ. The rapture occurs in Chapter 4 and then the day of the Lord in Chapter 5.I Thessalonians 5:3-5, “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.”See we don’t belong to the same category as those people out there in the world. In I Thessalonians 5:6-8, “Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.” Those of us of the daytime belong to Christ. Paul recognizes that the dispensation of Grace is inserted into the time period that the Bible calls nighttime. The prophetic program, and the prophetic Jewish calendar and time schedule have been interrupted, but as surely as Jesus Christ is gone away and hasn’t yet come back, the nighttime is still here, even today. As far as the gentile world out there goes, it is still under the night of gentile dominion over the world. When you go back to Daniel Chapter 2 you are dealing immediately with a chapter that focuses on a vision that is a night vision. It is a vision about the night. What you have in Daniel Chapter 2 is a reference to the beginning of gentile dominion. It is a reference to the duration and the course of the gentile dominion over the earth and especially over Israel. It begins with Babylon and it traces it right on down through Media-Persia, Greece, etc. It is interrupted between the legs and the feet for the dispensation of Grace. Just like the dispensation of Grace, the Mystery isn’t in there; it is inserted in there. What you have in Daniel Chapter 2 is the whole scheme of the thing. In Daniel Chapter 7 you not looking at the whole scheme of the thing, but you are looking at the end of gentile dominion. You are looking at the last days of the gentile dominion. You are looking at that particular time in the Bible that is called nighttime. It is the time between the first and the second coming of Christ, the tribulation time. Remember in prophecy there was not a clear delineation of how much time there would be between the sufferings of Christ (his first coming) and the glory that should follow (the second coming). They don’t see 2,000 years there and they don’t understand the things that we understand today about time elements and so forth. They see it identified as night and Daniel Chapter 7 is a vision about the nighttime, especially about the end of gentile dominion.".--RICHARD JORDAN, GSB.._________________________..Despite that fact that the image of the man in Daniel chapter 2 forever establishes the pre-millennial system of study, and that Paul's epistles teach a pre-tribulation rapture, many professed Christians have been taught out of these truths by false doctrines.Because denominational churches aren't studying God's word according to his commandment and instructions given to apostle Paul to give to us (2Tim 2:15-16 KJV), they have greatly erred in teaching the word and doctrine. And even worse, they've erred in regards to the gospel of our salvation! However, it's always possible that a person might have heard the true gospel as child or young adult, believed it and got sealed and saved. But, then later, got swooped up by some denominational church and learned a false gospel and false doctrine and just stayed in religion. I'm sure there are some in that position. We right dividers call them the IGNORANT BRETHREN. They're saved, but they haven't yet come unto the knowledge of the truth about PAUL being their only apostle during this dispensation of grace until the rapture. And, therefore, they are completely confused about God's timeline, who they are IN Christ, what God's will for their life is, what they are to be doing and where they're headed. Although the LIFE of Christ is in them and they are saved, they don't yet have the LIGHT, i.e. they don't have the knowledge and understanding of the MYSTERY, so they are still in darkness and they are blinded. It takes BELIEVING PAUL and his doctrine to remove those blinders!..It is very sad that so many "Christians" today don't believe in the rapture! The rapture is our blessed hope! It's the Preterists in the denominational churches who have persuaded Christians not to believe in the rapture. The Preterists spread the false doctrine that the rapture already occurred in 70 A.D. That heresy has caused so much confusion in Christendom, and shipwrecked many people's faith. The Christian who is walking around not believing in the rapture are lacking in the comfort and peace of God. Because they aren't rightly dividing the word of truth, they are no use to God.And, that is the goal of Satan toward the believers IN Christ: to make them useless to God.If only the ignorant brethren would turn away from denominationalism and learn about RIGHTLY DIVIDING the word of truth, then they wouldn't lack the knowledge and understanding of God, as well as the comfort and peace of God!It's as if the ignorant brethren have no hope, even though they might be saved, and will be present at the rapture (if they have believed the same gospel Paul received and preached: 1Cor 15:1-4; Eph 2:8-9 KJV).Of course, ANYONE who has believed Paul's gospel is saved forever and THEY WILL BE AT THE RAPTURE, whether they believe the rapture or not. But, person can be SAVED and be totally ignorant about who they are and what their blessed hope is.And, without believing and understanding the rapture doctrine, in this life on earth, a believer IN Christ won't be able to REST in the word of God like they could if they would believe in the rapture. The blessed hope of the rapture is one of the main things that is designed by God to COMFORT US in this present dispensation of grace...Paul Writes To Us The Body of Christ ...1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.18 Wherefore COMFORT ONE ANOTHER WITH THESE WORDS...If a believer doesn't have the HOPE of the rapture IN THEIR UNDERSTANDING, there is much peace and COMFORT OF GOD that they are missing out on. They will lack the benefits of believing in the pre-tribulation rapture. The peace and comfort that God intends them to have in this life COMES FROM believing the Lord will be faithful to his promise of this coming in the clouds to catch us away to heaven before the wrath of the 7-year tribulation (Rom 6:5-6; 1Cor 1:7; 1Cor 15:51-54; 1Th 2:19; 1Th 3:10,13; 1Th 4:12-18; 1Th 5:9-11; 1Th 5:23-24; 2Th 21-2; Php 3:20-21 KJV)..Their salvation and presence at the rapture are sure and certain, IF they have believed the same gospel that Paul received and preached (Rom 1:16; Rom 2:16; 1Cor 15:1-4; Eph 2:8-9 KJV).But, in this life, in this present evil world, they will LACK the peace and comfort of God...BOTTOM LINE: if a believer IN Christ doesn't believe the rapture doctrine, then they aren't rightly dividing the word of truth. And, if they aren't rightly dividing the word of truth, it is IMPOSSIBLE for them to function the way God intends them to function IN Christ. Because a correct understanding of the word and doctrine is required to function properly IN Christ. It's the knowledge and understanding of Paul's doctrine IN the saved that BELIEVE IT that enables the Spirit of God to work in and through that believer today (1Th 2:12-13 KJV).Walking any other way, and that believer is simply walking in the flesh.God's word IN us, is what does the work in us and through us, when we BELIEVE it rightly divided (2Tim 2:15-16; 1Th 2:12-13 KJV)."Not I, but Christ" - Gal 2:20; 1Th 2:12-13 KJV...========================SHARE COPY PASTE EDIFY
