I am converting this dresser into a buffet for our dining room and am torn as to whether I should remove any drawers to make open shelving or leave. I was trying to make it look less like a bedroom dresser. I already know what paint color I am doing to match our table.

I agree with combination. Maybe leave the lower two drawers and shelve the uppers. Could also put glass doors on the left and right side

I would take out center drawer Put in open shelves Paint what you like. I would change out hardware
