America's Voice News:
Kevin Roose, The New York Times’ Technology columnist, reported that several “experts” have recommended to the Biden Administration that they appoint a “reality czar” to “tackle disinformation” spread among the population.
The piece is aimed at different ways to mitigate “disinformation” spread through social media; citing QAnon group-chats, OAN News, and YouTube up-loaders that share conspiracy theories such as the Biden Inauguration being a hoax filmed in Hollywood.
“Several experts I spoke with recommended that the Biden administration put together a cross-agency task force to tackle disinformation and domestic extremism, which would be led by something like a ‘reality czar,'” Roose wrote. “It sounds a little dystopian, I’ll grant. But let’s hear them out.”
