JUST IN: TEXAS SECESSION BILL FILED IN HOUSERepublican State Representative Kyle Biedermann has filed House Bill 1359. The bill is not a resolution to allow for immediate independence. Instead, it would allow Texans to vote on whether the legislature should create a committee to develop a plan to "be returned to its status as an independent republic (p. 3).
