Hispanic Republican Organization

Hispanic Republican Organization (HRO):

On July 4th, 2001 more than 200 Latinos from Mexico, Cuba, and Puerto Rico met in Cook County Illinois to form the Hispanic Republican Organization. This was the only grassroots organization that saw at the time, to take on domestic and foreign issues as part of their platform. In its 23 years of existence, it has been an advocate, for statehood for Puerto Rico and an end to communist and socialist regimes in the Caribbean and in Central and South America.
