Act now! From now through May 28, the World Health Assembly, the governing body of the World Health Organization (WHO), is meeting to discuss proposed amendments to existing International Health Regulations (IHR) from 2005. These regulations are intended to serve as the foundation of a pandemic treaty that would foster a “one-world government” in the name of public health. Representatives of 194 nations, including the U.S., will soon decide whether to grant the WHO the authority to manage future pandemics globally, including the power to sanction countries that don’t comply. Sadly, the Biden administration is poised to hand over ultimate control of America’s healthcare system and absolve itself of any responsibility.
Several new amendments proposed by the Biden administration would expand the authority and resources of the WHO at the expense of U.S. taxpayers. Of particular concern are amendments to sections 2, 3 and 5 of Article 12 of the IRH, which deals with “Determination of a public health emergency of international concern, public health emergency of regional concern, or intermediate health alert.” These amendments would enable the WHO to declare a public health emergency unilaterally.
For U.S. citizens, it means that a public health emergency could be declared by an unelected official, allowing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to detain, examine and potentially medicate Americans suspected of being ill. The WHO would have the authority to introduce surveillance systems, compliance measures and implementation of medical response worldwide. This is a violation of both the inalienable rights of individuals and the sovereignty of nations. It would also remove both transparency and accountability.
We cannot enable this abuse of power.

This week, those closely watching the developments in Geneva, Switzerland, are reporting that 12 out of the 13 amendments have now been removed from consideration! This is hopeful news but doesn’t guarantee that they won’t put the amendments back in.
The situation is evolving and the World Health Assembly meetings are still underway, so now is not the time for us to let up!
Time is of the essence. If ultimately enacted, the WHO’s proposed Pandemic Treaty will be the end game for bodily autonomy and national sovereignty. We must act now to #StopTheTreaty by voicing opposition to the International Health Regulations amendments. Here is something you can do immediately to fight back against this global tyranny:

We cannot afford to centralize power under a global public health organization that fails to recognize the benefits of natural immunity, suggests that vaccines are the only way to herd immunity and has walked away from science, transparency and accountability. Public health is now being used as a means to enshrine tyrannical measures that will fail to protect our health and will succeed in removing our autonomy.
This is a “use it or lose it” moment for freedom. While the progress made this week is moving in the right direction, we cannot give up now.
